About Us

Relaxation is a top priority for us – take your time to enjoy the beauty of the Alpine foothills.

Our farm in the picturesque Five Lakes region is the perfect base for escaping the stresses of everyday life. Numerous spectacular excursion destinations, as well as sporting and cultural activities, beckon. The nearby Bavarian capital is also always worth a visit and captivates visitors from all over the world.

Here, the Lederhosen and laptop principle applies; hardly any other region stands for tradition and progress so much. Experience rural yet modern Bavaria: being at one with the changing seasons, no pressure to be perfect, simply being human.

Our farm has been family-owned since 1854. Until September 2018, dairy farming was the focus of our work. Today, we operate a heifer fattening farm and sustainably manage our fields, meadows, and forest.

Geisenbrunn is the ideal starting point for excursions by bike, car, or S-Bahn to the state capital of Munich or the charming Alpine foothills. The famous lakes of the 5-Lake Region (Lake Starnberg, Lake Ammersee, Lake Pilsensee, Lake Wörthsee, and Lake Weßling) are all easily accessible by bike via cycle paths or side roads. Thanks to the excellent transport links via the A96, you can reach both the famous royal castles and numerous mountain and ski resorts by car in a maximum of 1.5 hours. The diverse shopping opportunities in Gilching, just 2 km away, are just as easy to reach. If you're looking for more extensive shopping, you can reach the Pasing-Arcarden shopping center in just over 15 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Munich Central Station, and about 40 minutes to Munich Airport and the exhibition center. The nearest lake and golf course are about 10 minutes away. You can indulge in culinary delights at the Geisenbrunner Dorfwirtschaft (village restaurant). You can reach it on foot in just 5 minutes. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests and are happy to answer any questions you may have by phone (08105/8534 and 0175/672 18 63) or at sedlmair.m@t-online. If you enjoyed your stay with us, we would appreciate a review on the popular review portals.
